Our all-new Web site is one of the most complicated endeavors we've taken on to date, and today it was quite a journey to get everything working just right. The following tip/trick may not be too terribly advanced, but it is a function of NEATO/Joomla which we've seen other developers not take advantage of when they probably should have...
The vertical "sliders" you see throughout the site are made up of YooAccordion modules.
In each introductory slider for each of the main three sections of our site (Large Format, Print, and Interactive), you'll see text and imagery that can be viewed by scrolling from left to right.
These are YooCarousel modules placed inside the YooAccordion modules.
In order to place the YooCarousel modules inside of each slider (YooAccordion module), we had to place this text into each YooAccordion - "mosloadposition user9"
Each of the individual YooCarousel modules were set to the "user9" position. Normally this would cause all of the carousels to appear on every page which has "mosloadposition user9" in it.
Fortunately within each YooCarousel module (and this goes for any module you have), you can tell the module which page(s) you want it to appear on. This allowed us to keep all the other user positions (1 through 8) free and clear for other modules!
Attached is a screen shot the YooCarousel module configuration page just so you can see that we've selected which page for the module to appear within.
