For the overall look and feel of the sub page layout, we've shown how the "SERVICES" page could be presented in our example below. We've taken the banner graphic and reduced the height considerably in order to allow the content of the page to take center stage.
Immediately below the navigation you'll see the addition of "breadcrumbs" which allow visitors to know where they were, and where they are (in this case you can see they've gone from "HOME" to "SERVICES".
When visitors click on the "SERVICES" link in the main navigation, they'll be taken to a "launch page" showcasing all the articles within the "SERVICES" section of the Digital Press Web site. In our example, we've shown an introductory article followed by two mock ups of articles representing various services Digital Press offers. Although we're only showing three articles on this page, all services offered would be displayed. For each article, an introductory paragraph would follow the remainder of the article (accessed by clicking on the "Read more..." link).
In the second screenshot, we've shown a drop down menu available from any page within the main navigation. Should a user click on "MEMORY STICKS" from the drop down menu, they'll be taken directly to the article titled "Memory Stick Duplication" (it would be displayed on it's own separate page).
The mock up of the sub page layout we've created shows a two column layout. We would create both a two and one column layout when coding the final Web site. Typically the one column layout would be used for a search overview page. We did not include a built in search field on the home page (or sub page layout), but we can add this in very easily should it be something Digital Press would be interested in implementing. The built in search feature of NEATO would search for criteria entered in by the visitor and locate articles within the Digital Press Web site.
In the right hand column of our sub page layout example we've taken the smaller "self promos" from the home page and duplicated them just to show a possible idea for content to be displayed. This can of course be changed to suit the needs of the final content.
