Digital Press - Web site (home page) PDF Print E-mail

Below are two screenshots showcasing the all new Digital Press home page layout.  At the top of the layout is a large area allowing the Digital Press icon and logotype to really shine.  Directly underneath is the main navigation consisting of six main sections, "Home", "About Us", "Services", "News", "Contact Us", and "Expert Resources".

Below the main navigation are two areas which can be used for "self promos".  The first, and most prominent, is the left hand side self promo area.  You can see on each of the two comps how the feel of the site can change as the images contained within this self promo area would change.  A virtually unlimited number of images can be uploaded and controlled through NEATO.

On the right hand side is a smaller area for an additional self promo.  Our initial thoughts on this area are to have the various promotional images change out much, much slower than the self promo on the right hand side.

Below the two self promo areas is where the main content of the home page is located.  We've shown how a basic welcoming article as well as a listing of services could be displayed.  This area could also show latest news snippets, these screenshots are basically to show how the content would be handled, not to solidify what that actual content is though at this time.

Towards the bottom of the page we've created areas for three additional self promos.  Our thoughts on this are to have static images which can be changed out through NEATO at any time.  When clicked on, these images would take users to their corresponding pages.  And of course at the bottom of the page is the standard footer area, complete with duplicate links of the main navigation allowing users to access other sections of the site quickly without having to return to the top of the page.

Studio4Squared actually spent quite a bit of time working on the overall color scheme.  We ended up developing a blue and tan scheme.  The blue colors have their obvious relationship with an overall business theme, while the tans were carefully selected to bring forth subtleties with fulfillment services, packaging, etc...
