Yesterday we recommended in our News Section for clients to check out SSBs as a cool alternative to running NEATO.  An SSB (which stands for Site Specific Browser) will turn your installation of NEATO into it's very own stand alone application on your desktop!  When you go to run Microsoft Word or PowerPoint or some other application, NEATO will be in your list of applications as though it were just another program on your computer!

It's extremely easy to create an SSB with Prism and requires no programming knowledge of any kind what-so-ever.  Just download Prism, launch it, and Prism will ask you what site to create an SSB of.  Copy/paste the address for your installation of NEATO into Prism and hit return.  Super easy!

Some of you may be wondering what will happen next, will NEATO change at all you may ask?  Not at all.  In fact, the entire browser interface will be removed once your SSB is created leaving just NEATO to work with!  ...we've put together some handy screenshots which compare NEATO running in various browsers and then as SSBs (on both Macs and PCs) so you can see for yourself.

The first row of screenshots below are from a Mac, the second row of screenshots below are from a PC.  You can clearly see that when running NEATO as an SSB (labeled as "Prism") - the browser interface has been completely removed and all you are left with is the interface of NEATO!  ...so running the CMS for your site just got even easier than ever before!
